

Edward graduated from West High School in 1956. He worked in drywall for a first job and later worked for Martin Marietta in accounting. He married Carole Ann Gile and they had 2 sons together, Edward Kenneth II and Michael David. He later worked for Petro Lewis Oil Company and moved to Houston, Texas with his second wife, Carol Anne Holliday. Carol had 2 children, Dawn and Greg. After several years in Houston, they returned to Colorado and Ed went to work for RTD where he worked for nearly 25 years. He made numerous acquaintances, many of which turned into friendships, always giving of himself to all the people around him. He retired from RTD at the age of 70. He lived out his life in Northglenn with Carol. Carol preceded him in death on December 22, 2019.
Edward was an active outdoor enthusiast. He enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting for many years with his extended network of family and friends. He also loved taking many road trips throughout the west, especially to National Parks. He was unmistakable on the highway in his 1974 avocado green Ford truck and camper. He is survived by his sons, Edward and Michael; his three grandchildren, Kenny, Michelle and Michael; and his 3 sisters, Yvonne, Shirley and Donna. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was a role model of love, friendship, and kindness.
Services for Edward will be at Crown Hill Cemetery Chapel on March 23, 2022. There will be a viewing at 9:00 AM and service will be at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow.
