Elaine Ruth (Huwa) Stricker, 87, of Aurora, Colorado passed away into the presence of Jesus on October 23, 2022 surrounded by her family. Elaine was born to Ted and Edith Wilhelm on August 18, 1935 in Lincoln, Nebraska. After moving to Denver, Elaine married Elvin Huwa in 1954 and together they raised their only daughter, Cynthia. After Elvin passed away in 2004, Elaine married Richard Stricker in 2007 and they enjoyed spending time with their children and grandchildren until Richard passed away in 2017.
Elaine is predeceased by her parents and siblings, as well as her husband of fifty years, Elvin Huwa, and her husband of nearly ten years, Richard Stricker. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Cynthia and George Walker, her grandchildren Gabriel and Christina Walker and Serena and Christopher Deloglos, and one great grand daughter, Elena Deloglos, along with many step-grandchildren and extended family.
A funeral service for Elaine will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2022 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM with a reception to follow at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 7777 West 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
