My condolences to my cousins, Meredith, Kevin, and Sheila, and to Melissa and Ryan, and Elene's husband's family.  My favorite memory of Elene is the time in 2005 when I was in Denver for my job.  Elene and Kevin took me out to eat in a town in the mountains outside Denver.  I'll never forget that.

I remember walking to West Elementary School with Elene when I was new to Worthington.  I lived right around the corner from her and she made me feel welcome in a new town and school.  She didn't say much but she walked with me and I felt like I had a friend.  Thank you Elene and may you rest in peace.

It made me very sad that Elene is no longer with us.  We were in many classes together from grade school through high school.  She sat right behind me in most of them.  She was always quiet, kind, and gentle hearted ... very sweet.  She never had a bad thing to say about anyone.  She was one of those very special classmates.  She will be deeply missed and always remembered.  My prayers are with Elene, her husband, children, and family.  May God bless you all.
