Emily T. Redosh passed away on December 2, 2017 at the age of 28 from SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy). Emily was the cherished daughter of Douglas Redosh, MD and Rhonda (Roni) Teitelbaum, beloved sister of Lauren Redosh, and dear friend and family member to many.
Emily was born in Philadelphia, grew up in Applewood, in Golden, Colorado and attended Lakewood High School. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona after which she returned to Colorado and lived in downtown Denver and worked at Colorado Physicians Health Program. Besides family, friends, travel adventures in the US and abroad, and her love for all major Colorado sports teams (for whom she could cheer with the best of them), Emily’s real passion since she was a young child was dance. She studied, performed and taught for many years with the Academy of Classical Ballet and competed in Ballroom dancing for the University of Arizona Ballroom Dance Club. Since returning to Denver, she continued to study ballet and ballroom dance at various schools including the Colorado Ballet School and Denver Dance.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution in Emily’s memory to Denver Ballet Guild, www.denverballetguild.org or Chelsea Hutchison Foundation, www.chelseahutchisonfoundation.org.
Emily’s gentle manner, joyous personality, and compassionate nature endeared her to all who knew her. We will love and miss you always, Em. Rest in peace as your spirit keeps dancing within us all.
