

Ervin D. Campbell, 69 of Grand Junction formerly of Arvada, CO, passed away July 25, 2010 in Grand Junction. Ervin was born Sept. 12, 1940 in Mountain Grove, MO the son of Emmett E. & Wilma E. (Baty) Campbell. The family moved to the Denver area when Ervin was a child. He graduated from Westminster High School. Ervin spent his career working for Braniff Airlines as a customer service agent and commercial maintenance technician operator. He married Ernestine Campbell May 17, 1990 in Golden, CO.
Specials hobbies included disc golf, artistic metal work, hot rods, antique cars, and Cushman scooters. He was a member of The National Organization of Elks-Cushman Club and participated in several Century Rides. Ervin considered himself a jack of all trades and a master of none, little did he know how many things he became a master of including our hearts. His final piece of artwork was displayed at the Mesa County Fair this year, winning 1st place, Best of Show and The Peoples Choice Award in his category. His wife, Ernestine entered his Rooster without telling him and she gave him a picture of the ribbons 2 days before he passed.
He is survived by his wife, Ernestine Campbell, Grand Junction; daughters, Terry Hinrichs, Jannette Chadwick both of Stockton, MO, Cathlene Schiatta, Lakewood, CO; step sons, Erik Michaud, Aurora, CO, Scott Michaud, Boise, ID; brothers, Bruce Campbell, California, Dana Campbell, Aurora, CO; sisters, Pam Westover, Greeley, CO, Janna Bishop, Hayes, KS; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Emmett Campbell.
