

She was born on January 31st, 1936, in San Bernardino, CA where she grew up riding horses and chasing the boys.
Mom was a homemaker, wife, mother and queen of her castle.
She loved dancing, roller skating, camping and spending quality time with her family and many close friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Clifford Ray Walker; father Morris Gusky, her mother Ella Mae (Kirkpatrick) Gusky; siblings Harriette, Lovetta, and Gene; her uncle Mark Kirkpatrick; her daughter Nancy (Walker) Piller, son-in-law Gregg Piller, and infant grandson Isaiah Piller; son-in-law Kerry (Lynda) Laird.
She is survived by her daughter Lynda Laird, son Rick (Nicki) Turner, daughter Cindy (Dave) James, son Randy (Diane) Walker, daughter Karen (Vernon) Owens; 10 grandkids, 27 great grandkids, and 6 great great grandkids and 2 on the way.
The family would like to thank all the staff at The Oberon House Assisted Living for taking such wonderful care of Mom and her family during her last days.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday August 31st, 2024, at 10:00 am. The location will be the Pavilion of Reflection at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary, 7777 W. 29th Ave, Wheatridge CO, 80033. There will be a crypt-side service at 11 am. with festivities following shortly thereafter. Dress for the occasion will be casual. No suits, no ties, no dresses, no heels. We’re planning games and activities on the lawn so dress like you are coming to an outdoor party.

Mom was amazing in sooooo many ways. She met her challenges head on and kept going. She had so much love to give and you could see it in all she did for others. Life for Mom was always on her terms, as was her passing.
