One of my best memories was when Eva came to Wash., DC. It was a lifelong dream of a trip given her by her kids. Our family lived there then and we had such a great time visiting so many sites in DC. That was over 9 yrs. ago--since we've been back home in CO for that long. So glad our family lived there when she had the opportunity to visit!

I am so sorry I never got to meet you. My son David and his wife said that you were wonderful and reminded them of my Mom (your cousin) I am sure you both have got to meet again in heaven. Rip Eva.

I only came to know cousin Eva in this past several years due to her being a great friend for life of my Grandmother.  I did not know that we were such close neighbors, but was thrilled to make that discovery.  When I first met her, I felt as though I was spending time with my own Grandmother, and that perception never changed.  I quickly came to love her quite easily.  And the respect that I have for her is immeasurable.  What a wonderful lady, and what a wonderful impact she made on this world.  I regret that I failed to visit her this past couple of years... I certainly would have liked to.  Blessings to all of her family.

What a great life and legacy.  I remember fondly many hours in Eva's home as a child.  She even fed me my first tacos.

Inspiring, creative, problem solver, loving, funny, mentally sharp, go getter, risk taker, genius, thirst for knowledge, fair, giver, artistic, seamstress, cook, wise, budget minded, enjoyed life/family/friends, historian, and she'll be greatly missed!

Daniel Foster loved her greatly and felt loved and accepted by her as his Grandmother.  She told him on more than one occasion that he was far to good looking to have a beard hiding his good looks.  He smiled when he recalled that she told him he was pleasing on the eye.  She will be missed!

Eva was a such a loving, generous lady. Full of spunk and vigor and creativity with a 'can do' spirit. She was such a joy to be around. She was a treasured member of our family.

My Grandmom served a dual role in my life as my Grandmother and as my mom.  For that I'm truly blessed!  She taught me ingenuity, creativity, frugality, love for family and agape love for people and animals, to never give up, that when life serves you lemons you make lemonade, and to never stop learning.  She made each person in her life feel special.  I loved how her eyes sparkled for each child in her life.  She made family time a priority and attended all births, special events, and loved to give each baby a bath.  A baby's cry and smile was held special in her heart.  She put thought into every gift purchased so that the recipient was made to feel special.  Holidays were important and she passed on a sense of joy and wonderment.   She loved to sew clothes for her grandchildren and for herself.  Clothes that looked store bought.   She found delight in giving.  I'll miss her smile, the sparkle in her eyes, our weekly visits and phone calls, and sharing with her what her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren had done, and the adventures in my life.  Her stories of her life adventures will be cherished forever.  I'm proud to belong to her family.  Rest in peace Grandmom.  Say hi to Grandpa, Mom, and the rest of the family and friends who have passed on before you.  I'm sure you will be seeking out those people you loved to learn about. She was my hereo and a role model. The type of grandmother everyone wants. I not only lost a grandmother I lost a part of my heart. She will be forever missed! Love you grandma!

What an inspiration she was and will continue to be. She touched so many lives. I love you Grandma and will miss you!

What a women. Eva has touched my heart and my life with her zest for life, determination, and caring spirit. She made an impact on everyone she met and was a true inspiration to me. She had a special relationship with all.

Eva was like family, although I didn't get to see her often, I loved her and thought of her as part of an extended family.  I knew her all my life.  She was one of my Mom's best friends, she was kind, generous, and so full of life.  She brought a great deal of joy to this world and we all will miss her a great deal.
