94, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2014 in Littleton, Colorado. Born January 4, 1920 in Denver, Colorado to Christian and Sylvia Drexler. She is survived by her loving family; daughters, Sharon Potestio, and Karen Mathias, grandchildren; Wynne (Tim) Forbert, Wade (Kelli) Potestio, Wiley Potestio, Tadd Mathias, and Peter Marxx, great grandchildren; Dezmond Espinoza, Alyssa Mathias, and Ashton Mathias. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Albert Rankin, her parents Christian and Sylvia Drexler, and a sister Bernice Welch.
Evelyn was a long time member of the Eastern Star - Metro Chapter #157.
Visitation Monday, May 26, 2014, 12noon to 4pm at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary. Services Tuesday, May 27, 2014, 12pm in the Chapel of Peace located at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery. Interment to follow at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery.
