My Faye, my sister, my friend! I’ve been missing and needing you for so long.   You were always there for me and my children .   Remembering our trip to Egypt, the faces you made while riding the “stinky” camel. Almost missing our ship in Guatamala because we were too cheap to pay the cruise line tour fees!  Getting soaked in Niagara Falls! You always scolding 
Jim & I because we ate too much on cruises! We had some good times! Rest In Peace, I love you!

Every September we would look forward to your visit while Uncle Jim went fishing. Oh how we enjoyed that week you would spend with us. You were always trying to help around the house when you could, washing dishes and sweeping the floor. Then we would all sit around the living room listening to your stories about your trips and how you wished you could still travel. 
It wasn’t long before you would ask for uncle Jim. You would get so angry and worried when you wouldn’t hear from him, having us shocked and laughing at the things you’d say. But the second Uncle Jim would walk through the door you were so happy to see him. You’d sit with him, hold his hand, and tell him how worried you were. 

We love you, Auntie Faye, and we will miss you so very much.

My dearest Auntie Faye, 

You’ve been such a big part of my life that I can’t believe we aren’t able to be together to celebrate your life. You’re a second mom to us - thank you for your love. I remember visiting your perfectly decorated cream colored apartment as a small girl. I loved your macrame, your owls, your smell, half-pieces of double-mint gum and of course your snoopy dog. When you brought Uncle Jim into our lives we were so happy for you. You two were so opposite but wonderfully balanced. Perfectly complementary. You two opened our world to hiking in the mountains, crafting, expecting the best of ourselves and modeled that international travel was for us too. I have every card and letter you’ve sent me over these twenty years.  I’ll miss you and love you always. I’ll never forget your voice. I’m relieved your no longer in pain, my tia. You’re in my heart forever. Please Rest In Peace.

I met Faye while working together at a Denver Law Firm.   We worked in the same department and would help each other as we learned new tasks and processes.  We became really good friends immediately.  We enjoyed working downtown Denver and often went out to eat and try new restaurants.   We sometimes had coworkers throwing a party at work to earn extra stuff and  would buy Pampered Chef (heaviest cookie sheets in the world), Tupperware (yes,  we needed more plasticware) and we also started scrapbooking (lots of fun).   I bought my first Honda vehicle after talking to Faye and other coworkers.  To this day i love it.  After, Faye retired we continued our friendship and would meet for lunch.   I came to meet some of her family members thru the years.  She would show me pictures of her amazing trips.   Faye, was too honest and blunt and had a way of saying things that would make me laugh.   If she did not agree with something or someone, one could tell with her posture and facial expression.  Oh, we laughed together.  Thank you for your friendship and lovely memories.   

You Auntie Faye will be missed. My family will always have fond memories of our family game nights   at Lani and Sharron's house. We miss you so much. May God wrap his arms around you in comfort. We love you!!

You will never be forgotten and I will treasure all the adventures/trips we would go on.  Thank you for being a great aunt and I'm going to miss you so much. You and uncle Jim spoiled me, and I couldn't be more thankful for the times I've spent with you.  I love you aunty Faye and I will miss you.
