Frances “Fran” K. (Tholen) Neff of Edgewater, Colorado, passed away on February 24th, 2026 at the age of 104 years. Fran was born in Grinnell, Kansas on December 23rd, 1921. The family moved when she was two, first to the Loveland area and then to Longmont, where Fran grew up. She attended St. John’s Catholic School.
Fran was married to Barney C. Neff for 50 years and they lived mostly in the Edgewater area. She was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker, and in later years, caregiver to her parents and her husband.
She is survived by her daughter, Jean T. Peters of Corpus Christi, TX; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and great grand nieces and nephews.
Fran would lovingly say to all her family and friends, “I wish you enough.”
