Gilbert Anthony Tucson Jr.

Gilbert Anthony Tucson Jr. Was born on January, 14th 1957 in Durango Co. and He passed away on October 22nd 2024 at the age 67 at St Anthony's North Hospital, accompanied by his brother Timothy Tucson.

He was the oldest son of Gilbert Tucson Sr. and Leah Velasquez Mares.

Gilbert had one Daughter; Adelina Apodaca and 3 step children; Veroneca, Leo and Christina from a previous marriage.

In 1964 we moved to Denver, Colorado where Gilbert lived until the age of 17 when he moved to Utah for a few years where he worked in the Coal Mines.

After a few years he moved back to Denver where he worked construction for a while then he became a Plumber which was the trade that he loved.

Gilbert was a very easy going person, he made friends at the drop of a hat, he called everyone his brother even though he had just met them.

He is proceeded by his brother Abel P Tucson, Father Gilbert H. Tucson Sr. and step father Ambro A. Mares. He is survived by three brothers Michael, Wilfred and Timothy; three sisters Edna, Tina and Andreana. and one step sister Theresa Mares, along with numerous nieces and nephews, we were already into the 5th generation, two aunts, one uncle and numerous cousins.
