Gina Dickey passed away peacefully on July 1, 2022 at her home in Thornton, CO at the age of 75. She grew up in Golden, Colorado, and spent much of her working career in Northern California. A former Human Resource Manager and teacher, Gina had been retired for 13 years, and returned to her Colorado roots to be near family and friends. A lover of dogs, Gina had multiple dogs throughout her lifetime. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and enjoying time with extended family and friends. She also volunteered her time with the Rocky Mountain Down Syndrome Association.
Gina is survived by her dogs Chloe and Mocca, her brother Hugh, sisters-in-law Georgia and Shirley, and nieces and nephews Kate, Chris, DJ, Stephen, Carrie, Diane, Herb, Wendy and Vicky, their children, along with many cousins and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Dorothy Dickey, and her brother Jim.
Visitation will be from 11:00 to noon on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, followed by a service and reception at 12:00 noon at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary Chapel, 7777 W. 29th Avenue in Wheatridge, CO. Following the reception, she will be interred at Golden Cemetery, 755 Ulysses Street, Golden, CO.
