

Age 90, of Westminster, Colorado passed away on September 4, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Alberta, daughters, Karen (Orin) Carman and Sally David and grandchildren, Brian and Sarah Carman. He is the beloved brother of David Donald David and Helen David Nelson. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet Bacon David and his brother, Denver Unroe David.
Harold was born in Denver, Colorado on May 17, 1920. He was reared in Denver and entered the Army Air Corps and served as a navigator, where he completed fifty missions in the Mediterranean Theater. After the war, he obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering after attending both CU and DU.
He worked as an Industrial Engineer at Gates Rubber Company, Coors Porcelain Co. and Rocky Flats.
He was a lover of outdoor activities; hiking, fishing and skiing (including fourteen years on the Ski Patrol at Arapahoe Basin). He was independent and self-reliant, always preferring to do any necessary home repairs by himself. He pursued a lifelong interest in art, with oil painting and photography. He was active in several local photography clubs, and received more than one hundred awards for his pictures.
He and his wife, Alberta, were both active bridge players, and attained the level of "Life Master". He enjoyed gardening, genealogy, listening to classical music and travel.
A service will be held on Friday, 12PM, September 10, 2010 at Crown Hill's Chapel of Peace, 7777 W. 29th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
