Hazel E. Mertz (Rensink), age 85 of Phoenix, AZ formerly of Denver went to be with her beloved Lord on June 22, 2011. Born in Denver, Colorado on December 26, 1925. she graduated from the University of Colorado and Worked at mountain Bell for over 30 years as a private secretary for 4 different presidents. Hazel was preceded in death by her first husband of nearly 50 years, Wayne Mertz and Marion Rensink her husband of 11 years. Survived by her nephew George Ohler II, nieces Sheila Carter, Donna Jones, Linda Kandik and Diane Bauerle and many grand nieces and nephews. Service 2:00 pm.
