Irene Davey

Irene Davey life long resident of Westminster passed away Thursday June 9th. Surrounded by her children, after a short illness.She was born January 30th 1932. She was 90. Preceded in death by husband Robert Davey.

Irene was a homemaker and avid volunteer for warm hearts warm babies, using her sewing talents to make many articles for donations.

Every Wednesday she was excited to go spend time with her crochet group where she made great friends.

Survived by her children, Diane Christian ( Dan ) Sharon Davey ( Erik ) Scott Davey ( Nancy )

Grandchildren, Kevin Christian, Jonathan Christian ( Danielle ), Tyler Horn ( Melanie ), Lea Brannon

( Zack ), Jeremy Davey ( Taylor ), Megan Davey, Melanie Davey.

Nine Great Grandchildren, Miriah, Lily, Kaden, Makayla, Natalie, Wesley, Khyla, Zoey, Oliver.

The loves of her life she enjoyed being with her kids and grandchildren. She would attend all of their activities, School programs, soccer, basketball, and football games. She loved going to her son Scott's house for Sunday Bronco games. She could keep up with the shots they did when the Bronco's scored. She said "What the heck I'm not driving." She enjoyed hosting holidays at her house. The stockings for everyone were hung at Christmas, and Easter baskets for the kids every year. There were always plastic eggs "hidden" in the yard. We could see them when we pulled up in front of the house!

A memorial service for Irene will be held Friday, June 24, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 7777 West 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. All guests are requested to wear blue in honor of Irene- no black please. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in her memory to Porter Hospice.
