Uncle Ike - 

Your smile lit up any room you were in. My favorite memories of you include you  pulling me aside at my college graduation at telling me how proud you were of me, and dancing with you at my wedding. You and Aunt Mary Ellen were always so supportive, and attending every celebration and milestone. I love the two fo you so very much. Thank you for everything you ever did. Please give my grandpa a giant hug.

Dear Uncle Ike,
 I will miss your cute grin and twinkle in your eye you are smart, hard-working, and kind. You had pride in everything you did especially your cooking and baking. I remember for my 18th birthday you asked me if there was something I wanted, I had you make me your famous strawberry cake. I still remember that smile on your face when you gave it to me and I was so happy and proud to tell all my friends that my uncle Ike had made my delicious cake.🎂 I love you and will miss visiting you, until we meet again God willing.

I was always proud to be your sister. I love you and I will always have you in my heart. You're happy in heaven with our loved ones, you're not suffering so that makes me happy.  I will always remember when my girlfriends would see you and my brothers they would always ask me, who those handsome boys were. You were very ambitious and hard working since you were little. I will always remember the backyard volleyball games ,and the family hunting trips. Uncle Ike was always so much fun to be around. He was always smiling and would always make you feel welcomed. I will miss you! 

Uncle Ike made such a deep and lasting impression in our hearts and in our lives. We will forever remember his easy going  & cool way that he worked his way through a crowd to greet his family! Uncle Ike always took the time to speak to everyone in our family and our boys, Patrick and Dylan, would seek him out to talk sports with him. I wish we could have seen the look on Ike's face when he was reunited with his family in heaven! Uncle Ike had the best smile and such a genuine sincerity behind it.  We will miss you, Ike! Uncle Ike, 
I will miss you greatly.  You were always so kind and caring. I remember when we would go and visit you and Aunt Mary Ellen after school.  We would hear the great stories and just sit around the kitchen table and enjoy each others company. When Christian was old enough you would take him outside and throw the baseball with him, he loved to go over. These are just a few of many memories that I will cherish forever. Uncle Ike,
I love you so much and will miss you deeply. I remember when we would go over to visit and you would always give us a dollar bill and we would leave with a rose you cut from the rose bushes outside. I loved going over your house, you and Aunt Mary Ellen would always have something for us to snack on and make us laugh.

He thought it was incredible that he quit school and went to work to make sure his family kept their house and had food to eat. My Uncle Ike was such a sweet, giving, feisty and competitive man! I remember playing touch football and volleyball with him when I was a kid!  He made me play my best and taught me how to play to win!  He will be missed so much! I send you and love and prayers, Aunt Maryellen, Billy, Rose and all his grandchildren. Always such a kind and caring person. I remember visiting your house as a kid. Seeing the beautiful roses outside. We would go inside and you would make us feel so welcomed and loved. You would always make us something to eat and give us a drink. Before we would leave you would hand each of us a dollar. I will miss sitting in your living room and hearing all of the stories you and my Grandma would tell. I love you.

My Uncle Ike was the most kind hearted giving individual.  He always put family first.  He was like a second father to me.  We spent many travels together with laughs along the way.  I know he is Gods Hands now!  Will miss him dearly!

We love you and you will be missed tremendously.  Your laughter could fill the house, and your strawberry cakes were the best.  We had so much fun while hunting, singing all the way up the canyon. Remodeling the little house are some of our best memories, from pulling down trees, to building garages.  I love and miss you.

My Brother Ike always gave his all in all that he did, whether it was in work, sports or life,  He had a great work ethic and was a perfectionist in many ways. He expected a lot from himself and from others, as well. Ike loved his cars and was always sharply dressed and always stood out in a crowd and was very handsome and had a great smile and easy way about him. Kim said she thought he always looked so nice over the holidays,  in his leather jacket. He was competitive in spirit and loved to win and he loved playing the game.  Ike loved baseball, football, volleyball, and boxing, actually he loved playing and watching most sports. 
Isaac was such a wonderful son to his mother and father Faye and Abel. He would do just about anything for them, anytime. 
One thing that always stands out in a particular was a conversation that  my brother had with my grandson Dylan one Christmas. Ike was telling him how he was coaching baseball and both of my grandsons said they would have really enjoyed being coached by Uncle Ike and playing for him on his team.  Ike was always telling family how much he enjoyed working for United Airlines and what a wonderful company it was to work for. Dylan told me that Ike should have been a spokes person for United Airlines, because it really stood out how much he thought of the company and benefits.  My grandsons, Patrick and Dylan, really loved talking to their Great Uncle Ike about sports every time they saw him. Ike used to go hunting with my son Patrick and my husband, Pat. Over the holidays Ike was a great baker and always contributed the best pastries and desserts for the gatherings. He took great pride in his presentation, too. He even made great fruit cakes! One time Margaret Rael even asked Ike to make them a fruit cake after trying some at our home, because she enjoyed it so much. That was something she never forgot.   He made the strawberry cake for Kim and Patrick's wedding and it was delicious, too.

Uncle Ike,
I just wanted to take a moment to say I love you and will miss you always.  Thank you for your gracious love and eternal support.  I got the very great pleasure to live next door to you and Aunt Mary Ellen.  I will always remember the hours we spent fixing up the little house, playing in the yard and cultivating the amazing garden.   I will be having a barbecue in your honor this weekend and will make your favorite "Bar-S- Hot dogs"  and will teach my grandson to throw the football like you always took time for my son.
