Jack joined the United States Navy right out of high school in 1956, and served 4 years active and 4 years inactive duty. He was employed by Lockheed Martin for 33 years.
Jack was very involved with the Masonic Lodge and Shriners. He was very talented, and loved fishing, hunting, golfing, camping, motorcycles and also enjoyed helping others.
He was preceded in death by parents Jack Sr. & Rose Bird, and sister LaVonne Brekelman.
Jack is survived by his wife Rebecca A. Bird, she was married to Jack for 54 years, they were married in 1969. Sons James and Ronnie Bird, step son Lenny Hart (Sandy Hart), brother in law Fred E. Henning Jr. (Nancy Henning), niece Pam Snelling and many grandkids and great grandkids. He will be missed by all.
