James E. Perkins, age 93, passed away December 9, 2016. James was a native of Arvada, residing there throughout his life. He was a veteran of the United States Navy who served in WWII. James attended Parks School of Business and worked in the insurance industry throughout his career. His family was very important to him, he also loved the mountains and enjoyed golfing. James will be missed by his daughters: Jackie (Gary) Osantowski and Joyce Perkins; grandchildren: Cari, Jason and Jamie and great grandchildren: Mackenzie, Paige, Brennan and Logan. He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Lois Perkins, wife Janice, son Jay, and siblings: Floyd, Calvin, Maxine, Ardith and Don. Visitation will be Sunday, December 18, 2016 from 4-6pm, funeral service will be Monday, December 19, 2016 at 10:00am both at the Olinger Crown Hill Chapel of Peace.
