James W. Webb passed away Sept. 20th after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. He was born in 1931 in Bartley, West Virginia. In 1949, he married Norma Surface & they had one son, James Marvin Webb.
He started working for the Glen L. Martin Company in Baltimore in 1953. In 1960, they moved to Denver where he began working at the new Martin Marietta plant as a machinist. He was very active in the UAW throughout his 38 years with the company.
Preceded in death by son, James Marvin Webb. He is survived by brothers, Noah & Robert Webb, wife Norma, grandchildren Samantha & J.R., great-grandchildren Dante, Jesse & Tiler, & daughter-in-law, Rhonda Webb. Also survived by adopted daughter, Dana Holdaway (Rick) & their children, Aaron, Janna, Brett, great-grandchildren Ada & Elsa.
Memorial service will be at 12:00pm on Friday, September 30, 2016 at Olinger Crown Hill, Chapel of Peace.
