

James Fredrick White, Sr., age 87, passed away on July 29, 2025, in Broomfield, Colorado. Born on March 5, 1938, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. James lived a full and vibrant life marked by service, hard work, and deep devotion to his family.
James proudly served in the United States Air Force. His military career took him to the Azorean Islands and later to Lowry Air Force Base in Colorado. His time in the service instilled in him a strong sense of duty and discipline that he carried throughout his life.
A man of many talents and trades, James wore numerous professional hats over the years. He worked as a truck driver and equipment operator before becoming a business owner. His entrepreneurial spirit was matched by his technical skills—he was also a mason and an avid car collector. Never one to shy away from adventure or challenge, James even took to the skies as a small plane pilot.
James was known for his outgoing nature and larger-than-life personality. He was friendly and braggadocious, always ready with a story or a laugh. But above all else, he was a family man—devoted to those he loved and fiercely protective of them. His zest for life was evident in everything he did, from his work to his hobbies to the way he cared for others.
He is survived by his two sons, Jim White and David White; their wives, Holly White and Janet White; and his beloved grandchildren: Danielle Weaver and her husband, Tyler Weaver, Allie White, Erika White, and Sam White.
James was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Evelyn White.
James Fredrick White, Sr., will be remembered for his unwavering love of family, his spirited personality, and his lifelong commitment to helping others. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
