James Benjamin Zamora

He passed away peacefully at his residence in Brighton Colorado.

Jim was born in Denver Colorado on September 5, 1946 to Ermenio and Barbara Zamora. Jim married Ramona on November 27, 1965. Jim started an apprenticeship program in 1968 and went on to have a long career as a sheet metal worker for 40 years. Jim enjoyed bowling, watching the Denver Broncos play and loved to gamble, especially with his brothers and sisters. Jim retired in June of 2004, which gave him more time to spend with his wife, children and grandchildren.

Jim and Ramona have two sons. James, married to Dena. Their children are Ryan married to Zoe, Dylan, Justan, Ethan and Madison. John, married to Amy. Their children are Peyton and John and one great grandson on the way. Jim is survived by his two brothers- Bill and Orlando and four sisters- Irma, Helen, Barbara and Gloria and was preceded in death by his brother Henry.

The family would love to thank Ingelnook Memory Care Center for taking great care of Jim while he was in their care.

Funeral Services will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 11385 Grant Drive, Northglenn, CO 80233, November 13, 2023 at 10:45 am. A reception will follow at The Elks Lodge, 10969 Irma Drive, Northglenn, CO 80233 from 12 p.m.-4 p.m.
