Jasmine Janay Williams-Whitfield was brought into this world on January 1, 1991, gaining her wings on December 14, 2025. Known to her family as Jay Jay, Jasmine was a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, aunt, and friend. Her beauty and presence brought a quiet and calming strength that preceded her wherever she went.
Her passion for education and children led her to become an educator with Denver Public Schools where she was a beloved instructor at Hallett Elementary. Education was not only her passion; it was her calling – you would often find her preparing exceptional lesson plans over the weekend or researching grants and resources to help her kindergarten classroom excel. Always one to plant educational seeds - she never missed an opportunity to teach. She taught and inspired in her children the love of learning and the love of God, creating a legacy that will be passed down to generations.
Jasmine leaves to cherish in her memory her loving husband Kaylan Whitfield, her beautiful daughters Kali and Kalia Whitfield, parents Harrison Sr and Dana Williams, brothers Harrison Jr, Tyler, and (Robert - resting in peace), grandparents Cleve, Robert, Mable, (Janice and Lori - resting in peace), and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will all miss her dearly.
