Jesse F. Hayes

March 10, 1931 - August 5, 2012

In Loving Memory of a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.

Jesse F. Hayes, Jr., 81, of Arvada, Colorado, is at home with his Savior, after a long struggle with illness. He was the son of Jesse and Lillian Hayes born on March 31, 1931 in Baker, Montana. Jesse married Betty Jean Hoenke on October 26, 1952, in Plevna, Montana.He served in the Air Force from 1950 to 1954. Jesse leased and operated Hayes Conoco Station at 38th and Wadsworth in Wheat Ridge, Colorado for 25 years. He then worked for Mills Equipment Company in Denver, for 10 years. Up until his passing he was the right hand man for his daughter and son-in-law's trucking business, Rocky Mountain Delivery.

Jesse is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Hayes, of 59 years; daughters and sons-in-law: Deborah Hayes, Diana and Steve West, Dorinda and Chris Naas, Donna and Lars Grimsrud; grandkids and spouses: Joshua and Tiffany Adamson, Jenna Adamson, Jacob and Jessica West, Elissa Naas, Clayton West and Britton Naas; great-grandchildren: Talior, Hunter and Jaden Adamson; step grandchildren, spouses and children: Kristil, Dan and Ella Krug, Lars E. and Kate Grimsrud, Ashley Hargrove; siblings and spouses: Chuck and Betty Hayes, Genieve Stenbak.

A memorial service will be held August 11, 2012, 11 a.m., at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Lakewood, Colorado, officiated by Pastor David Langewisch. Visitation will be on Friday, August 10th, 5 to 7 p.m., at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary and Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at Exempla Good Samaritan Hospital and Palliative care team for their loving care over the years. We would also like to thank the Collier Hospice Center at Lutheran Hospital.
