

Jim was born April 28, 1944 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He graduated Abraham Lincoln High School in 1962, and attended night classes studying Metallurgy at Temple University while working in the Quality Control Department for the Nicholson File Company. Later in his career,
he worked for the Cherry Creek School District, and after retirement worked part time for Aurora Parks and Recreation.
He is predeceased by his wife of more than 44 years, Kimberly, as well as his parents Randall and Frances.
He is survived by his son Ian (wife Kathie), and their children Jasper and Liam, his brother Ron Buckley, his Brother-in-law Rick Irvine (Sally), his Sister-in-law Deborah Lenyo (Jim), his Brother-in-law Bruce Irvine (Mary Beth), and a cousin Denise Hubicki (Ken) who was very much like a sister to him.
Beloved nieces and nephews include Randy Buckley (Trish) , Debbie Portzline (Larry), Dan Buckley (Merry), Chad Hockley (Crystal), Daniel Krebs (Marcia), Matthew Lenyo (Chris), Michael Lenyo, Melissa Johnston (Josh), Jillian Irvine, Allison Nassar (Michael).
Jim loved bowling, golf, fly-fishing, gardening, reading, animals of all kinds, and people. He was a baseball coach, a bowling coach, an all-around sports fan, and a nature lover.
Any memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or Colorado Greyhound Adoption.
The funeral services will be a casual dress affair. Please feel free to join us in honoring Jim with bowling or golf attire.
