Joe passed from this earth on February 8, 2013. A kind and compassionate man, Joe will be missed by all who were lucky to know him. He is survived by his Partner of 29 years, Craig Wilson, brother, Randy, and 2 sisters Myrna and Barbra. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Gerald. Joe served his country in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany. An early pioneer of business ownership first with Joe’s Hair Affair, and more recently of Needz, Joe’s business family of employees and operators kindly referred to him as “Dad” or Papa Joe. To his many nieces and nephews he was “Uncle Joey”. He was “friend” to many in the Denver community. His love of animals is legendary always looking to expand his brood of dogs. He even cared for the birds in the parking lot saying they needed to be cared for also. Always ready with a smile, kind word and great story whenever you met, Joe will be remembered with love, fondness and friendship.
