
John A. Davis, Jr. a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle, of Westminster, CO, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Benke; two children, Zachary Davis and Joshua Davis (Stacey); two step-children, Matthew Smith (Richelle), and Alicia Clifton (Craig); granddaughter, Ashlyn; step-grandchildren, Elyssa, Autumn, Averee, and Jaiden; step-great-grandchildren, Colton and Piper; sister, Margaret Ash; brother, Michael Davis, and several nieces, nephews, and great-nephews.
John was born and raised in the Denver Metro area, attended parochial school from grades one through 12, and graduated college at CU Denver. He was the founder and Executive Director of a counseling agency (RSA, Inc.) for the majority of his adult life. John was a pioneer in this specialty field in which he was highly respected in the community he served and he strongly impacted and touched the lives of many. He was also a very loyal, caring and generous employer.
John's love and dedication to his family was beyond measure and he had many lifetime friends with whom he created wonderful memories. John will live on in the hearts of countless people for generations to come.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:30am of Friday, October 20, 2017, at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 3900 Pierce Street, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. Interment will follow at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery, 7777 W. 29th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033, for those who wish to attend. The reception hall at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery will be available immediately following mass for those who do not wish to attend interment and lunch will be served following interment. John's family would be honored for you to join us in celebrating the life of such an amazing and cherished man.
