

Judith is survived by her loving sons, Eric (Barbara) of Estero, FL and Gregg (Jill) of Littleton, CO; 7 Grandchildren, David, Rachel (Brett) Hoeppner, Nicole, Scott, Kelsey, Christopher, Megan; and 1 great-granddaughter, Samantha.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Ruth Patton, her high school sweetheart and devoted husband Glenn, her only daughter Linda, and her faithful feline companion, “Kitty”.
Judith Anderson was born on May 31, 1938 in Columbus, Ohio and moved to Denver with her parents in 1948. She graduated from Denver South High School, 1956.
She married Glenn right after high school and they began their life together. While Glenn was studying to be a Veterinarian at Colorado State University, Judith was busy at home raising their three children. After graduation and residency in Boston, MA, the family returned to Colorado and settled in Southwest Denver, near what was to become Anderson Animal Hospital.
With a lifelong interest in fine arts, Judith was involved in various organizations, including the Denver Fashion Group where she worked to promote style and fashion with many local young designers. Later, after becoming a certified Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America, Judith would go on to found her own jewelry design studio, JJ Star Jewelry, where she ran a successful jewelry design and appraisal business in several locations around North Cherry Creek.
After Glenn passed away, Judith had the opportunity to spend several years living in Paris, France, where she continued her education in the Arts. In addition to studying the French language at the Sorbonne Universite, Judith Spent time refining her skills in oil painting and mixed media . She loved her time living in Paris in her pied-a-terre. While in Europe, her interest in travel grew, and she eventually took several amazing trips, including a round-the-world adventure with her long-time friend, Lee (Caryl) Adams.
Please join us, for a casual reception honoring Judith Anderson’s life, at the Ranch House, Bradford Room, 7676 S. Continental Divide Road, Littleton, CO, 80127. We hope that you can drop by during the afternoon of Saturday, October 6 between 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., and share in this special day. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Lutheran Collier Hospice Center or Safehouse Denver for Battered Women and Children.
