92, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, February 16th after a brief illness. She was born on March 20, 1921 in New Bern, North Carolina and is survived by her son, Chester B. Teel and his wife Barb of Loveland, CO, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, a great great grandchild, and nieces, nephews, and friends. Julia was a long time Denver resident. She was married to Chester Teel and then Walter Depew and together they ran Depew Plumbing. She loved to garden and sing. She was a member of the Western-Aires who took second place nationally in the Sweet Adeline's competition in the 1950's.
She was preceded in death by her husband Walter, son Walter J. Teel, and daughter Julia Frances Wieland Cooper.
A memorial service will be held on March 1, at 10:00 AM at Olinger Crown Hill Pavilion, 29th & Wadsworth in Wheat Ridge, CO.
