Justin Spencer Pilcher

Justin Spencer Pilcher passed away on Sunday February 25th, 2018 at the age of 33. A proud Colorado native, Justin graduated from Pomona High School in Arvada and went on to attend the University of Colorado, Boulder and Metropolitan State College of Denver.

He was an Eagle Scout, loved the outdoors and recently completed training at the Red Rocks Law Enforcement Academy in hopes of becoming a police officer or park ranger. He was excited to dedicate his life to public service and would have made an excellent public servant. He cared deeply for others and was legendary for his generosity.

He is survived by his wife Audrey Kline, his parents Martha and Roderick Pilcher, his brothers Cameron and Benjamin and his newborn niece Londyn.

A man of great conviction, Justin told loved ones that his faith never wavered as he battled his disease. His spectacular stubbornness wouldn’t allow it. Justin lived life slowly and savored his time with loved ones, often sitting quietly listening to everything going on around him and only speaking when he had something to say.

One of his great loves was sports, especially baseball. He was a lifelong player of the game, even winning a state championship with his beloved Pomona Panthers, but probably had the most fun playing in what Audrey called his “old man league” with his friends. He loved the game and would be pleased to teach the next generation to love it as well. Family friends at the Albuquerque Community Foundation and Team Tio have graciously offered to process donations and make a grant in Justin’s honor to youth who could use a scholarship or help purchasing equipment in Jefferson County. Memorial service will be Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 3:00pm in the Olinger Crown Hill Pavilion of Reflection. Following the service a reception will follow at The MAC 3295 W 72nd Ave. Westminster, CO 80030 Dinner and drinks provided
