I met Kathy for the first time when I traveled to NY to be a part of her wedding to Michael, my best friend. I was welcomed by her family.  From the hospitality and grace that they extended to me, it was obvious that she was a product of a special, loving family and became that to her husband and children.  She was a treasure and an inspiration to all of us and is, to this day, sorely missed, not only by her family and friends, but to all of the children she cared for during her time as their doctor. We love you Kathy.

Children in Heaven will have a great "doc" coming their way.  Kathy was a great person and I remember her well.  Condolences to her Family during this sad time!

Kathy was a special person extremely smart and sweet ; she was invited to my Bar Mitzvah in 1968! I will never forget her charm and sense of humor. The world is a better place due to her presence .  Deepest sympathy to her family

I became friends with Kathy in 5th grade at PS16 and we stayed friends though Emerson and Gorton. I admired her intellect, humanity and sense of humor. She always made me feel special. I was thrilled to see her again at the reunion. With great sadness, my sincere condolences to her family and friends.

Kathy had a sweetness which was as great as her intellect. She will be missed by all of her Gorton Class of 1973 classmates.

Kathy was not only very smart - our Valedictorian in a class of 344+ - but also a very nice person with a great sense of humor!  God bless your soul Kathy.
