Kathryn Janelle Allen, beloved wife and soul mate to Gerard Allen. Best friend and beautiful mother to daughter Lindsay Holt passed away peacefully with her husband and daughter by her side, leaving an emptiness her family will forever feel.
Kathy’s never ending faith and love for the Lord her God was her greatest strength, and now forevermore she is singing His praises.
Her smile was one that brought a feeling of great cheerfulness and her laughter was infectious and those around her couldn't help but join along in the giggles. These will always be remembered by those who knew and loved her.
She was born in San Diego, California and was the first daughter to Betty & Grant Seal, and became a most amazing sister to Peggy Seal who joined their family a few years later. Kathy spent many years of her life working for a family business with her husband and brother-in-law, eventually she devoted her life to caring for her mother in her elder years, and most recently she was honored to care for her favorite little guy Jonah alongside her wonderful guy, Gerry.
Kathy and Gerry were a beautiful example of what a committed loving union should be. On February 2, 1985 they devoted themselves to one another at Christ Episcopal Church on Coronado Island in California. Their 39 years together was filled with travel, laughter, happiness, respect, countless time with their grandson, and so much more.
Kathy was a devoted mother to Lindsay, her pride and joy. But her heart was filled with the absolute greatest joy when her darling grandson Jonah was born in 2020. The bond that they shared and the love that she had for him was insurmountable.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents and is survived by her husband Gerry, her daughter Lindsay and son-in-law David, her grandson Jonah, her sister Peggi, and several other dear family members and friends who will never forget the love, dedication, and support she brought to each of their lives.
