I still see Peers in my memory as I frequently go by the family home on Arrowhead Road. He was a great friend and always a part of our sometimes mischievous fun times. 

I met Keith when he was dating my Mother-in-Law, 17 years ago. He was one of the most positive and optimistic men I have known. He was a great listener, and he was always interested in a new idea or activity. 

When I called Keith or met him for lunch; I knew when it was done that I would feel more positive and uplifted as well. 

I will miss him

While I did not Mr. Fawcett (Keith) all that well, I know his two sons, Ross and Brad, very well.  And all I can say is Job Well Done.  May you rest in peace.  And on this St Patrick's Day Eve, may the devil know your gone a half hour after your in Heaven..  Timmy G

Keith was one of those unique individuals who was always more interested in what was happening in your world than his.  From a waitress to a close friend, he brightened up your day and left you feeling a little "special".  He will be sorely missed.

We knew Keith in Nonpareil. He radiated true happiness by his presence. The world is a better place because he was with us.

Peers was a wondrful friend of mine from the time we were small children growing up in Duluth.  I last visited with hime in the fall of 2010 at which time his Alzheimers was becoming more advanced but we still had a great time reminiscing about our antics as kids growing up in our Hunters Park neighborhood. Those are memories I will never forget and think of him often as I drive by the family home at 22 Arrowhead Road.  My condolences to all the family - Peers will always be part of us.

My friendship with Peers goes way back to kindergarden at Washburn Elementary in Duluth.  We have been close friends for over 72 years.  I will miss his warm smile,outgoing personality,crazy wit, positive attitude, and most of all how he cared for others. May he rest in peace. My best to his family.  We have lost a wonderful friend.

Pops (Keith) was the best Dad you could imagine! Full of optimism, pride and a can do it attitude. He was there when you needed him and trusting enough to let you try and fail without his guidance. Truly a great man and one I will miss and think of forever.

As young lads cousin Jeff and I looked forward to Uncle Peers coming to Thanksgiving gatherings.  We would wrestle with full reckless abandon in a hotel room.  Jeff and I were amazed at how strong he was beating up on strapping 10 and 12 year olds.  He always had energy and zest for living.  He passed those traits on to many of his relatives.

Growing up with Keith in Duluth from age 5 was such fun. His positive attitude and zest were an inspiration. Skiing with him later in Colorado-he had not lost a step. Talking with him often on the phone in recent years was a joy. Keith, I will miss your friendship    God speed.

I'll always remember Keith quoting the Scotish poet, Robert Burns' poem about whether a true Scot wears anything under his kelt.  Keith always recited the poem in a wonderful lilted Scotish broug in his booming Radio Disc Jockey Baritone Voice with a twinkle in his eye.  This is how I want to remember my friend, Keith Fawcett.
