Ken lived a life marked by love, laughter, selflessness and kindness towards others. He had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed having fun and creating laughter wherever he went. Always ready with a smile or a joke, he was the kind of man who easily made friends to everyone he met, not because he tried to, but because his heart and joyful spirit naturally drew people in.
He was born and raised in Oklahoma and he carried deep pride in doing hard work and helping others in whatever he was doing. When he was younger he was a great pool player and enjoyed sports, which included him being great at football, basketball, golfing and bowling. As he got older he stayed active in work and life, which included staying fit and going for a run no matter the season. And in the fall/winter months, you could always find him rooting and cheering on the Oklahoma Sooners and the Kansas City Chiefs in football. He was always a proud and loyal fan.
He also enjoyed life’s simple pleasures from sweet treats, good company to a good movie or show. He always brought energy and heart into the everyday moments. He was always quick to jokingly grab a chocolate treat with a glint in his eye as he smiled at the people around him doing it. He had a way to brighten and make things happier by entering a room. To his family, he was a steady source of love, strength, and encouragement, and to those that knew him he was someone truly special.
He is survived by his wife- Katy; three children- Gregg (Wendy), Dara (Dylan), and Brent; his grandson- Eric, his brother- Jack, cousin Marjorie and countless other extended family and friends.
He will be remembered for his joyful spirit, big heart, hardworking nature and for the love and smiles he brought so many. His memory will live on in the laughter shared, the kindness shown and in the many lives he touched.
