

Kristofor Gardner Reed died on February 7, 2012, in San Francisco, California. Kris was born on January 9, 1978 in Denver, Colorado, to Donna Skinner Reed and James Thomas Reed. He graduated from East High School in Denver and attended The University of Oklahoma, Metro University, CU-Denver and Red Rocks Community College. Kris was very smart and funny. He loved to read, listen to music, and play games. His love of travel and sense of adventure were an integral part of his life, as was his pride in being a Democrat. He was able to make everyone laugh and enjoyed arguing any side of many subjects. Kris loved sports, especially OU football and the Denver Nuggets. He is survived by his mother, Donna, of Arvada; father, James, of Boulder; his sister, Weslynn Reed and her husband Dennis Rice, of Thornton; his grandparents, C.L. (Bill) and Jean Skinner of Norman, Oklahoma; uncle, Curtis Skinner and wife Alexis of Mesa, Arizona; aunt, Janice Hill of Norman, Oklahoma; aunt, Debra Skinner of Norman, Oklahoma; aunt, Mildred Brown of Wichita, Kansas; uncle, Carl Reed of Wichita, Kansas; nephew Aiden Rice and nieces Kallie and Kandis Rice of Tulsa, Oklahoma; half brothers, Jay and Jon Reed; and many cousins, other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Christine and Arvell Taylor, and uncle, Donald Hill.
