

Leisa Anne Mortenson, age 66, passed away peacefully on 12/05/24 in her home surrounded with loving family in Strasburg, CO. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend to many.
Born 6/8/58 in Aurora, CO, Leisa lived a life filled with love, laughter, adventure, and connection with others. She was known for bowling skills, bunco parties, crochet skills, community service, and loved the outdoors. She loved to travel, shop, the AZ Wildcats and all Denver pro sports.
Leisa retired from Wells Fargo Bank after an amazing 45 year career where she was respected for her dedication and hard work. She approached all tasks with diligence and integrity. She was honored with many company trips, Disney World, the Bahamas, and Hawaii were being among her favorites.
Leisa was creatively talented to painting, needlepointing, and took pride in crocheted 17 blankets for her loved ones. She loved to read, craft, and spend time with her grandchildren like making holiday treats. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and making all the grandchildren’s wishes come true.
She is survived by her husband, Craig Mortenson of Strasburg CO, her son, Kevin of Florida, daughter, Heather (Jose) of Bennett, CO, son Chad (Jennifer) of Indian Hills, CO, daughter Heidi of Aurora, CO, and her sister Missy (Glenn) of Brighton, CO, and her nephew Tyler. Her grandchildren; Austin (Kaylee), Joe Si, Jordan, Olyvia, Izaiah, Isaiah, Jenessa, Jenaya, Joseph, Janae, and great grandchildren Levi and Solyse. She was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth & Rochelle Voeltz, and grandparents Verald & Anne Westby and August & Ann Voeltz.
A Funeral Service to honor and celebrate the life of Leisa Anne Mortenson will be held at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery 7777 W 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 1pm with a Graveside Service and Reception to follow. A livestream of the service is available below.
Leisa Anne Mortenson may have left this world, but her love and legacy will continue to live on through those who knew her.
