

Leroy (Lee) Wallace Brown was born June 5, 1935 in Steamboat Springs and died at his home in Northglenn, Colo. The Brown Family moved to Denver in 1946 where Lee started school. He graduated from South High School in 1953 and enrolled at the Colorado School of Mines graduating in 1957 as a Mining Engineer. He enlisted in the US Army in 1958 serving with the United Corps of Engineers Combat Unit obtaining the rank of First Lieutenant in the Yukon Command, Alaska.
Lee returned to Denver in 1961 and was employed by the Public Service Company of Colorado (now Xcel Energy) where he worked for 32 years retiring in 1994. He served as a volunteer in many organizations and clubs most notable the Northglenn Historical Society and several Gem & Mineral Clubs.
Lee is survived by wife Rosalie Nunez-Brown, sister Virginia Pingree, special niece Laurie Gablehouse, five children Linda, Becky, Nancy, Wendy, Kimberly, stepsons Rick and Marco, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son Leslie and sister Marilyn.
