A graduate of Strum College of Law in Denver, Les served in the offices of both Governor Richard Lamb and Governor Roy Romer working with professionals across the state in the fields of mental health, and drug and alcohol addiction.
Les was a tremendous supporter and benefactor of the arts in Colorado. He was a member of the Directors Society of the Denver Center Theatre Company, and a subscriber and donor to many of the Denver/Boulder community theatres. The Colorado Theater Guild honored Les and his partner of 25 years Glenn Tiedt, as recipients of the 2017 Henry Award as Outstanding Theater Benefactors.
Les and Glenn traveled all over the globe, including Europe, Asia, Russia, China and the Middle East. Two of his favorite trips were to Egypt and Russia. Les believed travel was the greatest way to learn and better understand other cultures.
Les will be greatly missed.
A graveside service will be held at Crown Hill cemetery on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 11 AM, with a reception and light lunch immediately following.
