Lewis passed away peacefully at his home in Denver, Colorado on April 15, 2023 at the age of 78. He was surrounded by his family who supported him as he courageously battled esophagus cancer for the past five years. Throughout his illness he maintained a positive attitude and a great sense of humor. Lewis enjoyed the time he was able to spend with his friends and family.
Survived by his wife Betty Garner.
Daughters: Vikki Buck ( Paul Buck) Pamela Beaver (David Beaver)
Grandchildren: Rebekah Buck, Jefferey Buck, Joshua Beaver, Christopher Buck, Angelina Buck, and Caleb Beaver.
Brother and Sister in Laws: Genie Petrocco, David Petrocco (Susan Petrocco), Albert Petrocco (Maria Petrocco.
He was preceded in death by his brother in law Dominic Petrocco, Parents James Garner, and Mary Garner.
Visitation will be 4:00 - 7:00 pm. Monday, April 24th. With a Prayer service and Rosary at 6:30 pm. At Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery 7777 W. 29th Ave in Wheat Ridge, Co. His funeral service, officiated by Deacon Paul Buck, will be held at 9:30 am Tuesday April 25th. Both services will be held in the Pavilion of Reflection. The committal will be honored by the military followed after the service. Reception to follow.
