She was a practicing and faithful member of St. Jude's Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Gonzales; parents, Laurie & Eulalia Tafoya; six brothers; Bobby, Richard, Conrad, Harry (Virginia), Ernest (Dolly) and Angelo (Kate); and five sisters; Perry, Lillian, Gloria (Peter), Aggie (Gil), and Isla (Mike).
She is survived by one sister, Geraldine Martinez (Rick); her children, Frankie Gonzales (Pegi) and Terri Martinez (John); her grandchildren, Angela McDaniel (Kris), Joseph Gonzales, Michelle Caflisch; and Great Grandchildren, Juanita Caflisch, Kaelyn McDaniel, Kaleb McDaniel, Kaeden McDaniel, Kailah McDaniel, and Keirah McDaniel and a small but mighty army of nephews, nieces, cousins and lifelong friends.
She was the matriarch of her close family. She had unconditional love for her God, faithful servant, unconditional love for her family, without judgement, almost to a fault. Always wanting to care for and resisted being cared for by others and it was always her goal to provide unending love and care.
Lillian gew up caring for her siblings alongside her mother as she was the oldest this began her endearing spirit to help all of those around her.
