Lisa Ann Murray

It is with profound sadness and love that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Lisa Ann Murray, who peacefully left us on July 3, 2024, at the age of 63. Born on January 14, 1961, Lisa blessed the lives of everyone she met with her vibrant spirit, boundless love, and enthusiasm for life.

Lisa was born with Down syndrome, but she never let that define her. Instead, she lived with joy, love, and an infectious smile that could light up any room. Her unique perspective on life taught everyone the true meaning of love, patience, and acceptance. She lived every day as fully as possible, inspiring everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Lisa had a way of demanding attention from everyone she met, and in return, she rewarded us all with her unconditional love. Though she tested us at times, she made us love and care for her deeply. Lisa will be profoundly missed by her family and those she made part of her extended family through her presence in their lives. This includes her past and present caregivers, everyone she worked with as a client at DDRC and other organizations, and every friend she made just by being herself. We will forever cherish the memories of her smile, laughter, and the special bond she shared with each of us.

A celebration of Lisa's life will be held on July 15, 2024, at 11:00 am at Olinger Crown Hill (7777 West 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033). In lieu of flowers, you may consider a donation in her name to the following organization.
