I just heard about Lois' death. We didn't talk often but I loved it when we did. We also would meet at Rosemary once in a while for dinner. Her son, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy as well as her Church family. Jack and I will miss her.

To My Other Mother Lois,
There are no words to express my gratitude for your unconditional love. You  taught me by your example to challenge myself and to be a better person than I believed I was. You will always be an inspiration. A thousand thanks for all that you did for our family. You made the world a better place and I am so honored to have known you. I could not have asked for a better friend!

Lois Countryman made me feel special to be a part of her graphics team when I joined it in 1974. She was a wonderful supervisor...fair, fun, a great teacher, held us to her high standards and was very supportive on a personal level. I consider her a friend. May she rest in peace. sina

Lois was such a beautiful and fun lady..she made all of us always feel welcome and she held the most amazing card games. She had such a fashion flare. Please accept my prayers at this difficult time and may you be comforted by God and so many friends.

Curt, I really will miss your Mom.  I started working for her at Mountain Bell in 1970.  I'm glad I got to talk to her a couple of times when she was in that assisted living facility recently.  We had a lot of great times together "back in the day"! She truly influenced my life.

To Lois Countryman Family;
I remember Lois, she was the most meticulous person in Art. She was not afraid to tell her people (workers) that the Layout job must be very meticulous. She wanted nothing but the best from her empoyees. Outside work she was the most fun person anyone wanted to know. She indeed was the most knowledgable person int the commercial art business. Since she retired from USWest no one could take her place. She loved her son dearly..She loved him and his wife with her whole heart and soul she only lived for them. At the time I knew her she had not had any grandchildren, but I can imagine she showered upon them with much love and attention. I Remember Lois with great fondness.
I sympathize with the family, no matter how many or how old a person is when they pass on, you miss them tremendously. I lost my mom 44 years ago and I miss her more and more each ear.
