

Sharon Hageman was born in Grand Junction, Colorado to Leo Foster Trembley and Martha Irene (Lockman) Trembley. She was the youngest of four children. Her siblings were David Trembley, Stella (Trembley) Snyder and Leola (Trembley) Parish. Sharon grew up in Grand Junction, Fort Collins, and Englewood and graduated from Englewood High School in 1959. One of her first jobs was at the Federal Center as an office assistant working with topographic maps. Sharon met her lifelong love on a blind date arranged by her mother and Jerry Hageman’s sister, Lucille Troxell. They watched the Lawrence Welk Show with Leo and Martha. After they were engaged, Jerry was drafted into the U.S. Army, and he spent over two years in Nuremberg Germany. Sharon waited for his return, developed a deep faith in God, and converted to Catholicism before they were married on November 24,1962; their marriage lasted 63 years. Jerry lived with Sharon in a Memory Care Unit for the last year, so they could stay together to the very end.
They had two children, Jeffrey Hageman in 1964 and Jennifer Hageman in 1965. Sharon’s successful career was centered around family. She quit work and raised her children and went back to work when they were in high school. At the GeoData Corporation in downtown Denver, she started as a receptionist and retired with the title of Vice-President in charge of Administration. She retired to take care of her mother in her mom’s final years.
Sharon was witty and quick with a joke. She came from a musical family and loved playing the piano, collecting sheet music, and playing the organ at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in the 1970’s. She also collected jewelry, shoes. and bargains at yard sales. She excelled at computers and technology and put together several books of photographs and memories including a family tree and history of the Hagemans.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Jerry Hageman, her sister Leola Parish, her son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Heather Hageman, her three grandchildren Wiliam Hageman (Melissa Acker), Jonathan Hageman (Jamira Hageman), Katherine Young (Alec Young) and three grandchildren: Jonah Young (3 years), Coda Hageman (1 1/2), and Elliot Hageman (8 months), and her daughter and son-in-law, Jenny Hageman and Randy Hoiten. She also had 27 nieces and nephews, and she made each one feel like they were her favorite. She has numerous friends from church, work, and neighborhood.
A visitation will be held on December 23, 2025, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at St. Jude Catholic Church Community Center, located at 9405 W Florida Ave, Lakewood, CO 80232.
Following the visitation, a Rosary service will take place at the same location from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
A Funeral Mass will be conducted at St. Jude Catholic Church Community Center from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
A reception will follow from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at St. Jude Catholic Church Community Center.
The cemetery service will be held at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cem, located at 7777 West 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033, from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
