Manuel was a big Denver Sports fan. He loved the Broncos, but was not a fan when they changed the logo from the big "D" to the current logo.
Manuel is survived by his children, Veronica, Ely, Jasmine, Marvella, Valeria and Manny; grandchildren Crystal, Bradley, Isaac, Lola, Leighla, Carlos, John Henry, Marvella, Nathan, Nayeli, Jaylene, and Nevaeh; great grandchildren Emiliana, Prince Eli, Joziah, and Delighla; sister Sara.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Marc and Ruby Perez and sister Esther.
