July 31, 1930 – November 14, 2014
Margaret Josephine Bellio passed away November 14, 2014 after a very long struggle with Corticolbasal Degenerative Disease, a rare neurological disorder that includes dementia.
Margaret was born at home and raised by her parents Rose Pedotto and August Yantorno of Welby, Colorado. Margaret was one of five children and was preceded by her sister Martha Giglio and her brothers Carl, Pete and Frank Yantorno.
Margaret was married to John Bellio on August 26, 1951. Margaret is survived by her husband of 63 years, John Bellio, their 2 sons, Donald Bellio and his wife Barbara of Evergreen Colorado, and John W. Bellio (Petra Deegan) of Silt Colorado. Grandchildren from Donald: Jennifer Judge and her husband Aaron Gully of Santa Fe New Mexico, Jeffery Bellio and his wife Lindsay Bellio of Albany New York, Lisa Webb and her husband Trevor Webb of Conifer Colorado. Grandchild from John W.: Alan Bellio of Silt Colorado. Great-grandchildren from Lisa and Trevor: Hannah and Cooper Webb, from Jeff and Lindsay: Isabella and Orion Bellio.
Margaret’s number one passion in life was her family. She loved caring for her husband John, her children and grandchildren. She was a hard working housewife with a passion for cooking and fishing.
This obituary is also intended to notify God to have the maintenance crew clean and polish the Pearly Gates before she arrives. We all know that first impressions are very big with Margaret. She previously was in charge of Mile Hi Cleaning, but has set her sights a little bit higher. She always told me that the Sky Was the Limit… I think I know what she was talking about now. God, Margaret will be taking over the housekeeping department for heaven, and will make sure no speck of dust, or ounce of dirt will be missed. Please keep mom busy till I get there to help her with my chores… Lord knows I still need my weekly allowance.
A Memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on November 17, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Silt, Colorado 81652. Denver services are as follows: Visitation, Thurs. Nov. 20 from 5-6pm with rosary to follow at 6pm at Olinger Crown Hill.
