Margaret Faye Dawson was born on July 11, 1936 and passed away February 2, 2020 at Eben Ezer in Brush, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her mother Grace Dawson, her father Raymond Dawson her sisters Mary Ellen Epperson, Wilma Jean White, and Juanita Kaas. Margaret or Peggy, as she was known to her friends, went to North High School in Denver, CO and graduated later with a GED. She worked at Mountain Bell as a customer support specialist for twenty years. She left the work world after she was diagnosed with muscular sclerosis. Following the passing of her mother and father Peggy inherited her parent’s home on Yates Street in Denver where she lived until 2011 when she was moved to Eben Ezer Luther Care Center for the remainder of her days. Peggy loved travelling and went to Egypt, Australia, Asia and several European countries where she enjoyed filming the interesting places she visited and studying the history and culture of the people. She was a quiet, loving woman who never married and lived alone. She had a heart for helping those less fortunate and enjoyed taking care of nieces and nephews while their parents enjoyed evenings out and away from their children. Her nieces and nephews remember her as a person who could always make them laugh and enjoy their time with her. Peggy retained her sense of humor and kindness on into her time at Eben Ezer where she enjoyed making the residents and staff smile, brightening their days with her presence. All who knew her will miss her.
