Mary D. Nylander, 91, joined her Lord on April 25, 2015. She was born April 5,1924 in Pierce County, Wisconsin to Charles and Iris Molander.
She was preceded in death by Virgil H. Nylander, her husband of 61 years.
She was blessed with three children Virgil C. ( Gayle), Lawrence H. ( Casey ), and Linda M. Gilchrist Tunstall ( Art ). She had six grandchildren Trent Nylander, Carey Gilchrist, Larry Nylander, Chauntel Ellis, Chris Gilchrist, Lisen Stoa and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was employed for many years as the office manager of Christopher Plumbing. She was a voracious reader, loved to travel and enjoyed socializing with many long-term close friends. Her greatest joy was her family. She was the glue that held the family together and took pride in everyones activities and accomplishments.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Cherrelyn Nursing Home for the loving care they provided during the last years of her life.
Services will be at 3:00pm on Mon. May 4, 2015 at Olinger Crown Hill, Chapel of Peace. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery.
