Marvel Hope Iverson, age 86, passed away October 4, 2016. Marvel was born November 17, 1929 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. There she attended Julia Ward Howe Elementary, Theodore Roosevelt High School and Northwestern Bible College. Marvel played cello, marimba and piano. She was the church musician and pianist for Faith Baptist Church of Lakewood for forty years. Marvel is survived by her husband Kenneth; sons: Vernon (Thu) Iverson and David (Kathy) Iverson; grandchildren: Andrew Iverson, Gabriel Iverson and Brooke (Andrew) Hatfield; great grandson Walker Hatfield and sister Carol Lind. She was preceded in death by her brothers Dean Johnson, George Johnson and Roger Johnson.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 9, 2016 from 3-4pm at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary. Memorial Service will be Monday, October 10, 2016 at 2:00pm at First Baptist Church of Golden.
