I am your Mother, Grandma Red, Great-grandma Red and Great Great-grandma Red! I go by Mary, Bette, Rusty and Red. I am your friend. I am a very blessed woman. There have been so many blessings that I have had throughout my life and with the love of such a special, wonderful and beautiful family, my world is perfect!
My blessings start with the love of Jesus. I pray for my family, friends and loved ones every night and I thank Jesus for having such a wonderful family.
I am blessed to have had such a strong mother and Grandmother that taught me how to be happy and look for the good in others as well. They taught me how to be strong, positive, love life and to be happy no matter what happens in life. They would always tell me stories, dance and laugh.
I have been blessed to have had so many different career choices in my life. I have worked as a waitress, a sign painter, worked for Walt Disney drawing Donald Duck, worked on the Spruce Goose plane, and was a rodeo announcer. The most rewarding job I ever had though was owning my own carnival. I loved hearing all the children laughing and giggling and watching the parents smile and laugh when their children were so happy. This made me happy to be able to bring so much joy into others’ lives. It made me happy that I was able to help people forget their problems for a short time.
I am blessed to have such a wonderful family that have faith in Jesus and I can call on them for anything at any time. It makes me happy that our family can always count on each other.
In this 94th year of my life, I want to pray and wish that all my friends and family know the joy and happiness in life that I have had.
Whenever I needed a little boost, I would find the music, giggles, smiles and love of all ages, enjoying the knowledge that all is A.O.K… Just like the ponies on a carousel, troubles will come but then they will go. Sometimes in this life there may be something or someone that may make you sad. Walk away from those and find happiness!
Enjoy everything and live life to the fullest! May the Lord bless you and yours throughout your days and beyond. Love you with all my heart.
