64, passed away on April 29, 2017 in Lone Tree, Colorado. Mike is survived by his loving family; daughter Heather (Matt) Abeyta, son Justin (Angie) Chavez, daughter Sara Chavez, sister Patricia Chavez, sister Diane (Tom) Chavez-Coble, grandchildren; Cameron Abeyta, Mathew Abeyta, Haley Abeyta, Ethan Chavez, Jerzie Chavez, two great grandchildren; Brandon Abeyta, and Breony Abeyta, also his companion Laura Downey. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mamie Chavez, his siblings; Doris Chavez, Bernard Chavez, Gilbert Chavez, Arcie Lovato, and Manuel Chavez.
