Myrna was born on November 5, 1937 to Elsie and Paul Schlesselman in Denver Colorado. After graduating from North high school in 1956, Myrna went on to study accounting at the University of Colorado. She received her associates degree in 1958 and it was a proud member of Kappa Delta pie sorority, which was also an honor Society.
After graduation she married Charles Tangy in 1958 and had two children, Charles Paul Tangy in 1960 and Linda Tangy in 1964.
Myrna was a homemaker and worked part time when the kids were older. In 1982, she started her own antique Business called the “Antique Boutique” where she ran the store in Olde town Arvada until the early 1990s. In 1994 she lost her husband Charles, and became a widow.
Around 1995 she started selling her antiques and collectibles on EBay making a nice supplemental income. In her later years, she stayed busy with her Antique club, Widows club, and friends game nights. Myrna is survived by her son, Charles Paul Tangy, her daughters, Linda Tangy and Becky Robison, and her niece, Debra Timmermeyer and her nephew, Dave Einspahr, and her beloved cat Squeaky.
Myrna passed on June 16, 2023. She will be missed and always in our hearts.
